Warner Bros released seven wallpapers of 300: Rise of An Empire at the official website of the movie. The wallpapers feature the main protagonists of the 300 sequel like Themistocles, Artemisia, Queen Gorgo, Xerxes and Calisto.
The plot of the movie continues right where the first movie ends. Xerxes and his army after defeating Leonidas are headed towards Athens and so the Athenians are forced to make an alliance with their rivals, the Spartans. Eva Green plays Artemisia, Sullivan Stapleton plays Themistocles, the leader of the Athens army, the rest of the cast is the same as form the same movie, Lena Headey as Queen Gorgo, David Whenam as Dilios and Rodrigo Santoro as Xerxes
