So the last Friday night in two episodes Fringe ended with it’s 100th episode.
For me season one and season two were the best seasons, but somehow the show kept it’s appeal and watched it all the way to the end.
What did we learn from it? It’s all about family. It all started with a man who was trying to save and be with his son, and it’s exactly how it ended with another man who saved his son (September) and two parents who saved their daughter (Peter and Olivia).
The last two episodes provided us with a conclusion and it’s a happy one. Also we had a glimpse on some of the old episodes (older fringe cases) and some more parallel universe crossing where we met older Olivia and older Lincoln.
In the last episode it was clear that Walter will be somehow separated from Peter and the rest so goodbys were said, Astrid (and Gin too) made quite a scene out of it.
So like I said it was emotional, more than the other episodes of the fifth season, but it was a way of one story to be finished. It will be missed. In the meanwhile a local TV station is running re0runs of the first season, who can say no to that?
