In the second trailer of American Hustle we get to know the major characters a little bit better, who they are and why they do the things they do. Christian Bale and Amy Adams play the hustlers turned lovers, or lovers turned hustlers you can’t really tell form the trailer. Jennifer Lawrence plays the (ex)wife of Bale’s character and from the short scene it’s clear that there’s a love-hate relationship going on there.
Bradley Cooper plays an agent while Jeremy Renner is the mayor. You can’t say what is the game the hustlers are playing, but right after two minutes of fun in the trailer you realize that it’s not quite as funny as it looks.
