Guardians of The Galaxy full trailer and even more HD photos!

Yesterday we just had the chance to see 15sec. teaser for Marvel’s Guardians of The Galaxy, today after the release at the Jimmy Kimmel Show here’s the first two and a half minute trailer for Guardians of The Galaxy.

The trailer is really concentrating on the funny parts of the movie, I am expecting a bit more substance and nicely compiled story.

Let’s see who are the Guardians…or perhaps prisoners is a better choice of words…

Oh, I am sorry, I didn’t know how this machine worked!

Peter Jason Quill is a human (as far as we know), associate with Yondu Udonta and he is charged with some minor criminal activities, like fraud, drunkenness, and 1 sex crime: “illegal manipulation of the Gramosion duchess”. Peter Quill is in fact an astronaut from Earth, who ended up in deeps space and somehow he managed to get himself involved in saving the galaxy with a bunch of misfits. Also this reminds me of Farscape, if I’ve read the Guardians of The Galaxy comics, Farscape would have reminded me of the comics, but what can you do. Oh, Peter Quill calls himself Star-Lord. Nobody else just he.

“I am Groot” – they say it’s all he says. Vind Diesel says the line and moves for him.

Groot is a humanoid hyper intelligent tree from Taluhnia. Apparently he is in cahoots with the raccoon below. He is also found guilty of 3 counts of GBH. What is GBH you ask? I have no idea.

He just spits in this scene, still no Bradley Cooper’s voice in the trailer.

Rocket raccoon is a bad-ass genetic experiment on a lower life with a tendency to bite. He is also a thief, arsonist and prison escapee on multiple accounts. Loves machine guns.

She also doesn’t say a word in the trailer, but hey, it’s the beautiful Zoe Saldana.

Gamora is from Zehoberi and the last survivor of the Zehoberi people. It’s obvious that Zehoberians were gorgeous people. Gamora thous is a soldier and assassin wanted for dozens of murders. She is played by Zoe Saldana who’s been blue in Avatar, green in Guardians of The Galaxy and pretty much her in Star Trek and all that in space. She is seriously becoming a fan fiction favorite.

Drax The Destroyer. He just yells in the trailer.

Drax who is also known as The Destroyer, because galaxy murderers whose family was killed get cool nicknames like that. Played by Dave Bautista. Also guilty of GBH, I was kind of hoping GBH is tree specific crime, but after I researched a bit (which means I googled) turns out GBH is grave bodily harm….Drax and Groot like to beat on people and aliens.

Star Lord’s ship, which is also a sentient being, just like Moya on Farscape…once again, Guardians of The Galaxy predates Farscape.
