This Friday, WandaVision has come to an end with an episode aptly titled “Series Finale”. While the series started of a bit slow, after episode three, everything was starting to shape up into the amazing series it turned out to be.
Spoilers ahead.
The series finale started right of where episode 8 finished, just when Wanda and Agatha’s first battle is about to start.
This is such a Wizard of Oz moment, with the car, instead of a house falls on the evil witch and only her shoes remain.
The Darkhold scrolls as read by Agatha Harkness, regarding the prophecy of the Scarlet Witch.
“The Scarlet Witch is not born, she is forged, she has no coven, no need for incantation…”
Easily the most inspirational and most family moment in the episode.
White Vision, requests an elaboration on who is the true Vision, making an analogy with the ship of Theseus, whose wooden parts are being replaced, which is the true ship? Who is the true Vision?
Vision gives White Vision his memories, or rather access to the memories, which gives an opportunity to glimpse few scenes from The Avengers.
The final battle between Wanda and Agatha and the ascension of the Scarlett Witch.
And now for the tear jerking moments and the saddest goodbye in TV recently.
Vision: What am I?
Wanda: You, Vision…
are the piece of the Mind Stone, that lives in me.
You are a body of wires and blood and bone that I created.
You are my sadness and my hope.
But mostly, you are my love.
I have been a voice with no body, a body but not human. And now a memory made real. Who knows what I might be next?
We have said goodbye before, so it stands to reason…We’ll say hello again!
There are two post credits scene in the series finale, one with Monica Rambeau and a Skrull in disguise, and the other one with Wanda in the mountains.
Wanda reading the spells in the Darkhold.
